1. Overview

Welcome to FidoTracker! We're a supportive community that provides membership based services to dog owners.

Our most valuable membership amenity is providing our members the ability to summon a professional licensed drone pilot to help them find their lost dog using military like thermal imaging technology.

We also provide other amenities to our members such as:

Online forums and chat

Meet N Greets and FidoPlayDates

Ability to upload PetProfiles and assign FidoFriends who are authorized to retrieve your dog if you are unavailable.

Put simply - By becoming a member of FidoTracker, you are becoming part of a pet loving community that doesn't have to spend 300 dollars for a commercial drone pet recovery service to come help you find your missing loved one.

FidoTracker, operated under AFRS.US, ensuring that our FidoTracker members receive fully insured and legally compliant drone services, contributing to public welfare and the well-being of our beloved pets.

Our nonprofit group has been around since July of 2021 and we have a long standing track record of serving over 1/2 million Ohioans with public safety and community outreach.

We've designed our terms and conditions in clear, simple language. If you have any concerns, reach out to us at 937-661-DOGS or member@fidotracker.org

If you don't agree to these terms, we kindly ask you not to proceed with your membership.

2. Legal

Our terms respect state and federal laws and don't change your legal rights or consumer protection rights. Everything here takes precedence over any verbal agreements made by our members or leadership.

3. Errors and Omissions Our website may contain errors or omissions or typos. Any website statements made are subject to change without notice. If you find anything you believe to be misworded or in error, please contact us at member@fidotracker.org and provide us the URL or a screen shot so we can correct it.

Any errors or omissions are by mistake and are not intentional.

4. Animal Restrictions

Although our military like thermal imaging may be used to find other types of animals outside of dogs. FidoTracker is intended for the finding of dogs, livestock, and large farm animals.

We do NOT provide drone response services for: cats, birds, snakes, ferrets, rabbits, and other types of animals that may be considered domestic animals.

5. Your Membership

By becoming a member of FidoTracker, you are becoming a member of AFRS (fire/search/rescue) auxiliary. Where AFRS is a 501c3 public charity and FidoTracker is a business alias for the auxiliary division.

Where FidoTracker services are dedicated to animal welfare matters.

Your membership allows you to receive exclusive amenities that benefit the welfare of animals while also helping support AFRS fire/search/rescue missions.

As a member, you'll enjoy exclusive amenities and benefits, including drone services for finding lost pets.

6. What Your Membership Provides You

6.1 Drone Pilots

• Access certified and licensed drone pilots for two responses per year.

• Each drone response includes 2 hours of flight time (4 hours total).

• You can use all four hours of your drone flights for one dog search if you wish.

• Additional responses outside the 2 responses or 4 hours are available at a discounted hourly rate of $100.00.

• If our drone pilot responds and finds your dog in 30 minutes - That still consumes one response and 2 hours.
  

6.3 Territory/Coverage Area

• Members must verify their home address being within our coverage area before signing up for a membership. You can see our coverage area at https://www.fidotracker.org/membership-signup

• We provide drone services WITHIN our coverage area.

• If you are traveling outside of our coverage area and your animal is lost, we can NOT respond outside of our current coverage area at this time. If you would like to help extend our coverage area, please contact us at member@fidotracker.org

• We are constantly looking to expand our coverage area as funding and pilot resources become available.

• Sometimes, legal flight restrictions may hamper our ability to fly within our coverage area. These decisions are solely based on FAA rules/laws. Examples include: emergency zones, disasters, Temporary Flight Restrictions, traveling or stationary dignitaries (President, Vice President, etc). These instances are rare, but they do happen occasionally.

6.3 Collaboration / Networking

• Get private access to online forums and member-only services.

• Share pet-related tips, coupons, and be part of a supportive pet community.
  

6.4 Discounts

• Enjoy special discounts for FidoMembers at select businesses throughout the region. These special discounts are announced to our members through forums, email or a FidoTracker logo being displayed at a business.
  

6.5 Meetings

• Drive the direction of FidoTracker through your input, votes, comments, and wisdom by serving on committees. We are a membership based service and the members have the ability to define FidoTracker services to best serve our members.
  

6.6 Regular Membership vs. Instant Activation

To prevent misuse, regular memberships activate 72 hours after signup.

If members require immediate drone support, they can expedite their membership activation for an extra 100 dollar fee in addition to their annual membership dues.

7. Guarantees / Warranty

• No guarantee of finding lost pets with thermal imaging, but we've had past success on many occasions.

• We strive for timely responses, delays may happen due to outside circumstances.

• No warranty on third-party offers, but please share concerns with us if you have a bad experience with one of our third parties.

• Human life emergency drone response may take precedence over pet finds. Examples include: Immediate life safety, major disasters, or spontaneous events that impact overall community safety.
  

7. Refunds

• No regular refunds, but may be issued in cases of identity theft/fraud or unique hardships.

• Contact us at 937-661-DOGS for refund requests.
  

8. Renewal

• Automatic annual renewal on the membership anniversary date.

• Any party to this agreement may cancel their membership association at any time.

• Members may cancel through our website or by calling 937-661-DOGS.
  

9. Non-Payment

• Services can't be provided if payment renewal fails.

• Members should receive an email reminder prior to membership renewal.

• Expired memberships can be renewed with the same initial signup waiting period of 72 hours OR the instant activation.
  

10. Indemnification

• All parties agree to hold each other harmless from any and all claims permitted by law.

• This includes our board of directors, associates, and any other party of our agreement or membership.

B -PRIVACY STATEMENT

FidoTracker is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during membership registration or service requests is intended to be used only for the purposes of your membership.

However, due to our association with third parties, your information may be shared with CreditCard/Debit Card organizations who will be processing your payment, AFRS.US (our parent org), or other businesses we may have agreements with to enhance your pets safety or recovery. Your pets information may be utilized in third party databases or AI technology to assist us in learning more about animal behavior patterns or other matters that allow us to improve pet recovery efforts. Petco Love Lost - The Petco Love Lost program is another nonprofit group that helps match up lost dogs with their owners. They do this via a combination of machine learning and AI technology related to doggie facial recognition. Before we send data to Petco Love Lost - We will obtain your permission before we share your information with this organization. C - DATA STORAGE Your data may be housed by WIX web hosting or other parties who provide us services and where each of these organizations has taken appropriate steps to safeguard data and has implemented the appropriate encryption based on IT industry standards at the time the data was stored. D - COOKIE STATEMENT FidoTracker may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience and improve our services. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device that help us analyze website traffic and customize content. By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in our cookie statement. E - ADDITIONAL STATEMENTS FidoTracker reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, privacy statement, and cookie statement at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or sent to members via email, US mail, or other means.

FidoTracker members have a say in how the organization is operated. If you wish to alter these terms and conditions, please contact members@fidotracker.org and our board of directors will consider your request or recommendation.

Users must be at least 18 years old to purchase a membership with FidoTracker.

FidoTracker is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services.

By using FidoTracker's services, you agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations.
